The goal of the Tuscarawas Valley Trojan Booster Club (TVTBC) is to promote and support the interscholastic athletic programs of Tuscarawas Valley Middle and High Schools. In addition we strive to promote community support for the programs and participation in the organization and its activities.

 

The TVTBC raises money to support Tusky Valley Athletics through various fundraisers and activities.  For example, the TVTBC operates the concession stand for all High School volleyball games in the fall as well as boys & girls basketball games and wrestling matches throughout the winter. The major fundraisers are the TVTBC Golf Outing, Night at the Races and the Trojan Ball Drop. Additional fundraisers include the Trojan Corn Hole Tournament, the Alumni Basketball game, 50/50 raffle at all Football and Basketball games and the "Trojan Barn" at all TV football games & track meets where school branded items are sold.

 

Examples of how these funds benefit Tusky Valley Athletes are new uniforms for each team every 4 years, a completely renovated and upgraded Trojan Training facility, new shot put ring, a new high jump and pole vault mats and a shooting trainer for the basketball teams. The TVTBC also helps support and manage each individual sports fundraising efforts. The club strives to ensure the money the community donates whether to the general fund or to a designated sport is used wisely.

 

The 2022-2023 Officers are President Adam Ernst, Vice President Chad Markle, Treasurer Jaclyn Norris and Secretary Rebecca Congdon. Board members include Aaron Hawkins, Mike Horger, Julie Cox, Annette Huffman, Heather Bourquin, Jenn Binsley, Sarah Perkowski and Jason Bandy.  Officers serve 1 year terms and Board members serve 3 year terms. Each officer is also a current Board Member. Officers and board members are elected annually at the April meeting.

 

Becoming a member is easy, just simply attend one of the monthly meetings (held the first Monday of every month in the high school Trojan Center) and ask to be added to the TVTBC member list. You'll be asked for a mobile phone number, email address and what sports your children participate in. (You don't have to currently have a child participating in a sport to be a member; Alumni, Grandparents, Uncles & Aunts, etc. are encouraged to join also!) Your obligations as a member are determined by you; feel free to participate in the fund raising efforts as much or as little as you like.
